They do have their own advantages and disadvantages and all these minor details have to be looked into before placing a bet. When a person is betting on a particular sport he has to be particularly careful that he takes the right decision. His decision should not be influenced by the others. The person who is betting has to do his research about each team and figure out the chances of his team wining or loosing that particular match. There are several sports where betting is legal. Some of the main sports where betting is legal are football, cricket, horse racing, wrestling. Some of the big players invest a large amount of money during these events. There are rumors that the amount of the bet might change the out come of the game. This is generally called match fixing. This is an unethical form of betting and it is a disgrace to the sport. But this happens once in a blue moon. Generally there are several people who just bet for fun but some of them bet in the aim of making money. In free bets the amount that is invested is minimal. Free bets have their own terms and conditions. For each sport these terms and conditions vary. Cricket, football and horse racing are the main sports where free bets are placed. The player has to be quite confident in his bet or else he is in for a ride. The person who is betting has to have a good knowledge on the team he is betting on. In case of cricket and foot ball there are only two teams so the user has to bet on the team of his preference. In case of horse racing the client has to bet on a particular horse. The horse can turn up in the top three positions or in the last. Depending upon the position of the horse the player gets the wining. This includes the investment money also. Some of the other sports that involve betting are table tennis, tennis, golf. Betting is not all that popular in these sports but the money that is being transacted is big. There are several advantages and disadvantages for free betting which include - First thing about free betting is that initial investments can be really small. So even if you loose, you don’t loose much. - In case of large investments there are chances for the game being fixed. - Being a very open system, even the general public can bet. - Being not a totally legal entity and totally dependant on the bookie, there are good chances that the bookie can run away with your money. - The bookie decides how much a person earns and who earns. So you may not exactly get a fair share of money. Free bets in sports are considered as a boon for several people. We should remember that betting can be a dangerous game both mentally and financially and it should not get to anybody's head. Betting is fine as far as it is within feasible limits. |
