Grab the online buyer's attention! Sure, you can tell everyone how excellent your product is. But it's so much better to actually show how terrific it is! Picturing your item properly will attract more attention of potential buyers. Here are some shotting tips:

1. Make sure you are using a digital camera instead of a mobile phone or web camera.

2. Make sure item to be photographed looks new and clean.

3. Product placement. If more than one product appears in a photo be sure not to bunch them together too closely. Also, placing them at different levels is also very pleasing to the viewer. Don't place one product too far from the other from front to back.

4. Enough light is one of the important factors. Try to take pictures in the morning if possible. Natural Sun light is better than interior light. But you don't have to go outdoor. Set a table close to your window, and take pictures without activating flash light which will cause overexpossed highlights. Avoid shining bright lights directly at the object which cause shadows or burnt out images.

5. Set the digital camera to macro mode or Close up function if the object is small. (Or looking for symbol of a flower on your camera)

6. Use the optical zoom or take picture as close as possible. Usually, when you take a close up pictures, the back ground will become blur. And the object you photograph will be outstanding.

7. Prevent camera shake. If the camera is not properly supported sometimes a noticeable blurriness can appear in the photo. Use a tripod to help take blur free photos, or use a camera with built in image stabilisation.

8. Don't forget the background. Try to make it looks simple and clean cause busy background could draw attention away from your object. If you want a more professional look, use plain fabrics or go with white seamless paper.

9. Take some test shots, adjust your setup, and then take a series of photos from different angles. (Usually, if you set your camera parallel to the product then raise it about six inches, your angle of view will be perfect.) Remember close-up photos of important details if necessary.

10. Edit your pictures. Corp the edges out. Leave the important part only. If the image is cropped too closely the product can appear to be boxed in. Too much space and the product can lose impact. Resize the picture according to the requirements of web and upload with your product text for use online.

11. Customers always look for all kinds of information from the pictures provided. So, show them all the functions. Show them how the material will look or feel like, product color, size, shape, weight, package, example of usage, etc.

12. Take hundreds of pictures and display only the good pictures.

By following these simple tips, you can better your product photo and draw more attention from buyers. Always remember, take your time, focus on the details!
