Now let us go and teach this night elf a lesson!” Welcome to the World of Warcraft-- the largest massively multiple on line role playing game today. Those conversations are common in that fantasy world where magic still exists and power is intoxicating. The denizens of World of Warcraft reached millions and no games ever come close to its number of members. A player may choose which species he belongs: Human, Orc, Night Elf, Scourge, and Blood Elf. He may also choose what class in that specie he will use each different fighting skills and the over-all appearance. There are a lot of continents to increase your level, with different items after killing a creep. The higher level creep you slay the higher the experience level point and the better items you will get. You may also embark on different quests to improve your experience. It is all about longer playing time, but the environment is simply gorgeous. It is like immersing yourself in a world that even your wildest imaginations can’t fathom. Playing will leave you wanting to explore all the worlds there and leave you breathless. The downside of this is that to fully experience the world, you have to pay for membership. Most games, in whatever platform, from Play station to online are designed for boys. I guess boys will always be boys at heart whatever age they are in so they always have to come up with different toys to satisfy their hunger for playing. Now girl games are usually rare and most of them cannot even match the quality and attention given to guys games. I am not saying that girls cannot play the games that boys play. I know some girls that could even kick my ass in Warcraft. I am merely referring to games that specifically target the female market. And one of these games is Bratz games. Now Bratz games fill a rarely explored niche in the gaming industry. Mind you Bratz games are no World of Warcraft. Bratz games are two dimensional flash games based on Bratz. It is simple to play with simple graphics and a simple soundtrack, but that does not make Bratz games less engrossing to play. There is something endearing in all those basic mouse click action. It makes one remember the classic old school style of games that we used to play when we were young. Leave a sister behind the screen with these games on and you will surely have hours of peace and quiet. |
