Every leading sports have their bookmakers odd which basically is a way of predicting the winners well before hand, sometimes even days before the tournament is scheduled to begin. Sports prediction or sports betting has taken such enormous proportions that it is now operated almost through out the year and around the world and is one of the biggest money making rackets about. If it is not one sport then it is another and it has its own avid followers and this is now like a job to many people earning their daily bread winning bets.

There are a multitude of possible factors that could result in potential injury. It is my duty as a strength and conditioning professional to focus on preventing injuries, especially ones that result from factors that I have control over. Too many strength coaches under utilize and undervalue the importance of conclusive evaluation and screening assessment. While I would like to indulge more about evaluation tests, techniques, data, results, and correlations to injury rates, I will wait until a later article. I want to focus this article on the basis of youth sports injuries.
